DID YOU KNOW… The Seasoned Chef is Denver’s premier company for off-site CULINARY events!  We have the wherewithal, the equipment, and the team members that are always willing to travel to you.  Our Chefs love to travel to whatever environment fits your event best, whether that’s an Airbnb in Evergreen or a conference center in Englewood.  We will travel to you and your event won’t skip a beat!

Our group events are entirely customized to your needs. The size of the event, the type of food you’d like to prepare, and the final setup are up to you.  For us, that even includes the location!

Typical questions that we’ve been receiving surrounding our group events lately include, “What’s the setup?” “How can these help our team and business grow and thrive?,” and “Is my team a good candidate for this type of programming?”

For over 20 years, The Seasoned Chef has hosted culinary team building and group events with a proven track record of success.  Across the years, we’ve honed our craft to efficiently host events where participants work toward a common goal to ultimately increase communication, achieve new skills, and enhance camaraderie, all in an environment where all the details are to you, as the primary planner, as effortless as possible.

Our team is built to accommodate groups 8-120 people in size, while uniquely customizing all of the details to be a culinary team-building event that fits the specific goals of your organization.  We can travel to you, or you are always welcome within our Seasoned Chef home.  To many we’ve worked with, this is a notable reason why they choose to work with The Seasoned Chef.  Our ability to travel means that you can always host your event in the space that best fits your organization’s needs!  What we say frequently amongst our team is The Seasoned Chef difference… “HAVE SPATULA, WILL TRAVEL!”

 

WHY CULINARY TEAM BUILDING WORKS

Depending on your role within your business you might not be familiar with the copious amount of research available proving one fact that we’ve known for a long time… culinary team building works!

Often, while employees might select their job based on surface-level factors, such as salary or job description, these are typically not the factors that determine a person’s role for the long term.  People stay in their role when they feel appreciated, well managed, motivated, and feel like they’re a part of a strong team.

This is not an easy task, especially now that almost everyone has been working from home or in hybrid work situations.

But hosting a culinary team building event puts your employees into a space where teamwork is absolutely necessary.  Through these events, collaborative teams improve productivity, increase motivation and collaboration, and improve communication.  This all while the organization is encouraging their employee’s creativity and positively reinforcing great work.  It’s a win for everyone involved!

 

OUR SET UP FOR CULINARY TEAM BUILDING EVENTS

At a high level, our group events typically last around 3.5-4 hours.  To begin, Chef Dan provides detailed instruction for the entire group, related to a menu that is selected by you.  We then break the larger group into smaller teams of two to ten individuals and provide recipes that interconnect the various teams.

This process, in turn, creates a fun environment where individuals of all levels of seniority, departments, and years of tenure are working together towards one common goal.

We follow these safety precautions whether we are on-site in our kitchen, or on-site in yours.  While we follow several of our own safety precautions, please be aware that we are flexible to fit your team’s comfort level (ex. wearing masks, etc.).
