Food as Medicine Series
Now that you’ve learned all of the basic cooking skills you need to know, it’s time to target your body’s needs to help you restore your overall system’s natural balance.  By eating the right foods, you’re helping to reduce inflammation, restore your immunity, and build vitality.

We feel so passionate about this subject that, not only have we created an entire cookbook centered around efficiently cooking healthy foods at home, but we offer a series of classes to fit, as well!  If these classes are of interest, look for “Food as Medicine” classes on our calendar - our next class in this series will be “Mix, Match, Make, Take” on April 15th.

Dabble in Some Friendly Competition

If you want to prove to the world that you know what you’re doing in the kitchen - better than all other recreational cooks out there - then here’s your chance.

Sporadically, we host Iron Chef-style cooking competitions and our next one is MARCH 28th.  Designed entirely for amateur foodies, teams of pairs will create their own appetizer and main entree with mystery basket ingredients that will be revealed that evening. Following, a panel of judges will choose who wins the top prize of an ultimate gift basket.  Sign up soon to save your spot!  Good luck and may the odds ever be in your favor.

Knife Skills

If “Basic Skills” class struck a chord, and you’re interested in taking your newly honed culinary talents to the next level, then we highly recommend checking out our Knife Skills classes.  This class is a similar format to “Basic Skills,” in that it’s focused on teaching you the skills you need to create a great meal from scratch in seemingly no time at all.

In this course, we will teach you how to slice, dice, mince, and julienne in a way that will make cooking easier, faster, and safer for you when you’re back home.  And don’t worry - even though we’re focusing on the skills in the class, there will still be a delicious meal to share at the end of the evening, as always.

We host Knife Skills class several times per year and recommend checking the calendar for upcoming times and dates of availability.

Couples Classes
Now that you’re an expert recreational chef, perhaps it’s time to show off your skills with some of your favorite people in tow!  Couples classes are designed for two people to learn and cook together - whether romantic partners, mother / daughter-style duos, or two best friends, every couple is invited.

We offer several couples classes each month because we believe that cooking is an activity that is best when shared.  The heart of the home is in the kitchen, and this class will help you to make that time more fun, entertaining, and productive than ever before.

Check our calendar to see which couples classes pique your interest.  Some of our most popular, upcoming couples classes are our”Spring Dinner Party” on April 3rd and “Cozy Nights” coming up on April 25th.

*Please note that our couples classes are priced for two people.

Seasonal Classes

While we believe that cooking can (and should) be simple, efficient, and healthy, cooking seasonally can feel a little bit more… ornate.  New ingredients and recipes, new moods following the warmth of the season, and seasonal holiday celebrations mean that the cooking process can easily get complicated without a little advanced preparation.

To help the cooking process seem seamless all throughout the year, we host several classes that include entirely seasonal recipes, whether you’re celebrating specific holidays or enjoying the fact that your favorite ingredients are back in season.  In these classes, you’ll eat delicious food, know exactly the ingredients needed, and be prepped with the order of steps taken so that you’re completely stress-free no matter the time of year.

We plan seasonally-focused classes frequently, though we may be most excited about our ”An Italian Easter Celebration” class, which pops up on the calendar on April 9th. Yum!

...Or Any Class on the Calendar!

As we mentioned, one of the biggest perks of taking our “Basic Skills” course is that you now have all of the foundational skills that are used in any cooking class you might take going forward.  With your newfound repertoire of essential culinary techniques, our whole calendar is your oyster (or scallop, if you choose to take our “Catch of the Day” class.)

No matter which direction you take, we simply encourage you to keep cooking to keep your skills sharp and spread some foodie love to all those in your path.
