We have so many fantastic classes on our calendar, but there is one specific class that Chef Dan always recommends for those new to the school.

Chef Dan’s favorite class is… Knife Skills 101!

For those not yet in-the-know, here’s a quick class description…

Proper usage of your chef knife, the most important tool in the kitchen, is an essential part of all successful cookery! This smaller hands-on class will focus on professional instruction for all fundamental knife work – slice, dice mince and julienne - to enhance your efficiency and elevate all aspects of your culinary skills.  Make this the year you learn how to chop like a pro!  The class will also feature knife safety, storage and sharpening, and construction.


This class is ideal for everyone from the beginner recreational Chef to those considering pursuing a professional position in the kitchen. Solid knife skills make cooking every dish so much easier, more efficient, and less strenuous on your body.  Trust us, if you’ve never taken a knife skills class, or if you’re in need of a quick refresh, then you NEED this class.
