It is becoming increasingly clear that chronic inflammation is the root cause of many serious illnesses – including heart disease, many cancers, and Alzheimer’s disease. Lifestyle factors and our environment contribute to chronic inflammation, but our dietary choices play a big role as well. In this class Vicki will identify foods that can contribute to the problem and highlight specific foods that can calm inflammation in the body, while Chef Dan teaches on the techniques needed to put this into practice in the kitchen, and create a range of delicious dishes showcasing the relevant ingredients.
