We offer customized cooking workshops for children and teens aged 11 and up, and work closely with teachers and educators to ensure a fun and fully inclusive event for all students, whatever their ability.
Our workshop program is designed for middle schoolers, high schoolers and college students, who will follow a format that focuses on age and ability, and aims to educate and inspire, through an engaging and informative style. We’ll provide a customized plan for your school or college group, and offer one day field trips and multi-day courses to fit with any curriculum, and to compliment specific courses that classes are studying, such as health and nutrition, foreign languages, etc.
In these tried-and-tested workshops, groups of students learn fundamentals such as sauteing, roasting, knife skills, blanching, poaching and baking, and gain the expertise to approach culinary tasks with confidence. Our goal is to collaboratively teach basic techniques and foundational skills which will help them appreciate the joy of feeding themselves, their friends and their family, and foster a level or independence in their own kitchen for years to come.
