Young Chefs Class: A Pizza Party!

There’s nothing like the taste of home-made pizza! Join Chef Amy for a morning in the kitchen as she instructs on the basics of making mouthwatering hand-tossed pizza. You’ll learn the steps to making very own dough and a classic pizza sauce from scratch, and can choose from a host of toppings to enhance your creation – from the traditional to the more unique! This class will give you the confidence to try your own dough-making and pizza-tossing skills in your own kitchen. Plus you’ll take pizza dough home with you, so dinner will be on you tonight! Ages 11 and up.

Classic Margarita Pizza,
Pizza Blanco,
Mushroom Pesto Calzone,
Cheesy Italian Breadsticks,

Young Chefs Class: Rollin’ Sushi!

We’re rollin’ sushi! Making these delicious Japanese delicacies at home is a fun and novel experience, and in this class, you’ll join Chef Andrew as he expertly guides you through the art of making a variety of fresh sushi rolls yourself. This hands-on workshop will teach you all about the authentic ingredients, the traditional flavors and fillings, and the techniques and skills needed to create your own customized sushi rolls. You’ll soon be creating impressive rolls worthy of any sushi bar – in your very own kitchen! Class includes a sushi rolling mat to take home. Ages 11 and up.

Tacos and Tequila!

Things are about to get hot and spicy! Join Chef Andrew as he pairs those stalwart Mexican favorites – tacos and tequila! He will be showing you the techniques to creating rich flavorful fare, full of spice and bold Southwest flavors. We’ll be spicing things up with tequila cocktailss for you to sip and savor, which will complement the different dishes, and ensure a well-rounded and authentic Mexican experience in the kitchen!

Menu Includes:
Shrimp Ceviche with Avocado, Heirloom Tomatoes, Pickled Red Onions/Dark Cherry Margaritas, 
Tortilla Soup with Tequila, Achiote Chicken, Crispy Tortillas, Tomatillos/Q Coins,
Grilled Carne Asada Tacos with Caramelized Vegetable Salsa, Cilantro Crema, and Grilled Zucchini/Mexican Beer,
Seared Ahi Tuna Street Taquito with Chimichurri, Jicama Slaw/Paloma Cocktails,
Sides: Spanish Rice, Boracho Beans, Mexican Cabbage Salad.
Spanish Churros with Kahlua Sauce.

Couples Class: Craft Beer Pairings!

Using craft beer in your cooking is a surefire way to add a rich and unique flavor to your food, and in this class, Chef Andrew will be experimenting with a number of different preparations, and explaining how to create an innovative menu which showcases the diverse and varied flavors of beer. We’ll be using a range of different beers, then pairing each menu item with a range of brews as we sample a selection of five craft beers, specially chosen to complement each dish.
Please Note: This class is priced per couple.

Bacon Wrapped Shrimp with Star Anise Bbq Sauce/Pilsner,
Petite Seafood Cioppino with Garlic Herb Toast/Wheat Beer,
Slow Roasted Meatballs and Soft Polenta/Amber Ale,
Dark Cherry Sweet and Sour Pork Tenderloin/Sour Ale,
Triple Chocolate Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches/Milk Stout.

Couples Class: California Seafood and Wine Pairing!

Join Chef Andrew for a ‘California Dreaming’ Date Night featuring regional seafood dishes – paired with local wines! Over the last two decades, California cuisine emerged as a leader in the culinary food scene, known for its fresh locally sourced ingredients, cutting edge fusion cooking, and creative inspirational chefs such as Alice Walters and Wolfgang Puck. Today, we still see its influence, and in this class, we’ll be cooking a menu full of West Coast flair and flavor, as Chef instructs on the techniques required to create these restaurant-style fish and seafood dishes, which are complemented by specially chosen red and white wines from the region. Please note: this class is priced per couple.

Spice Seared Ahi Tuna with BBQ Glaze, Root Vegetable Succotash / Zinfandel,
Shrimp Salad with Sesame Peanut Vinaigrette, Wontons and Asian Vegetables/ Reisling, 
Steamed Mussels with Provencale Tomato Broth/ Pinot Grigio,
Herb Crusted Tilapia with Caper Pesto and Vegetable Orzo / Chardonnay,
Grilled Salmon with Harissa and Polenta Fries / Pinot Noir.
