Breads and Quickbreads

Join Chef Kelly as she explains the different techniques and mixing methods to creating a selection of different breads and quick breads, which offer a fantastic quick and easy alternative to the traditional yeasted dough version. Quickbreads are those that use other leavening agents other than yeast or eggs, and bakers love making them, as they can be baked quickly and very simply, and do not require lengthy proving time, or the need for kneading. Using a combination of leavening acids and bases, the end result is lighter and softer, with a close crumb.
